Dr. Lori Forgues grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and attended the University of Illinois. After graduating from the University of Illinois Veterinary College in 1991, she practiced in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Along the way she collected cats, dogs and a husband before moving to Tucson in 1996. After surviving their first summer, she and her husband, Scott, knew they had found their forever home. They are blessed with two children, Grant and Brielle. Dr. Forgues spends her time caring for cats and dogs, including her own two dogs Dingo and Lillie, and her dog, Bugheera. She enjoys bicycling, reading, and the occasional game of ice hockey. Scott is a financial planner and very involved in Grant's Boy Scout Troop. Brielle is an avid swimmer and is taking cooking courses. The entire Forgues family loves to travel and spend their vacation time visiting relatives, skiing, and exploring the beaches on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Terese HammondPractice Manager
Born and raised in Tucson, Terese is one of the seemingly few Tucson natives. Terese started working at Tucson Small Animal Hospital in January 1999. With a strong concern for protecting health and the environment, Terese earned several degrees in environmental science, policy, and management, as well as environmental health and safety. She has also earned multiple awards for her scientific research. Her passion for animals and veterinary medicine has always drawn her back to work in the veterinary field. She became Office Manager at Golf Links Animal Clinic May 2016 and became Practice Manager for both of our clinics April 2017. She enjoys spending time with her family (furry family members included, of course!), nature, wildlife, travelling, reading, and learning about a lot of different topics.
